The Accounts Executive/Accounts Assistant reports to the General Manager to support the financial activities . He/She covers duties such as work that is specific to accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, payroll or other accounting tasks. He/She works specifically with accruals, fixed assets accounting or the monthly and yearly finalisation of accounts for audit purposes. He/She assists with the preparation of trial balance, basic financial statements and simple consolidated financial statements. He/She may be called on to participate in ad-hoc finance-related projects and systems testing when necessary.
Job Requirements
*Accounts Payable functions include verifying supplier’s invoices, initiating payments, data entry and maintenance & reconciliation of creditors’ ledger.
*Accounts Receivables function include AR aging, prepare AR reports & monitor cash balance.
*Handle petty cash claims and reimbursement.
*Monthly bank and accounts reconciliation.
*Handling staff claims.
*GST returns and ensure all transactions comply with IRAS’s regulations.
*Liaise with auditors and preparing audit schedules.
*Undertake instructions from Directors and Managers for the transactions & assignments given.
*Manage full sets of accounts and ensure timely & accurate month end closing.
* Project progress report preparation
*Other ad-hoc duties that being assigned by supervisor from time to time.
