Manager (Group Internal Audit)
Job Scope:
As a key player in the audit department, the auditor will conduct audits and reviews of client’s global group of companies according to the annual workplan approved by the Audit Committee. Able to work effectively both in a team as well as independently. Candidate will be conducting audits each year, either as a team member or as team lead which includes supervision of other team members.
In performing audits, auditors be expected to utilise audit software (Galvanize Highbond) and analytics tools (ACL) to identify and assess the key risks and operational effectiveness of our business units to help carry out the audit tasks, and to help business units to improve their processes and strengthen their assurance processes.
Besides audit, other assignment including consultancy projects will be performed regularly. These include post investment reviews, control self-assessment rollouts/verifications, process improvement and digitalisation and continuous monitoring.
Investigation assignment may also be conducted when required or on requests of management.
The auditor should propose and implement ways within GIA to transform and enhance the internal audit processes continuously.
Job Requirements:
· A good degree or high qualification from a recognised university, with preference in IT, Accountancy/Finance.
Skillsets and Experience:
· At least 8 to 10 years of working experience, with key experience in managing audit assignments in a multi-national organisation. Recent Big 4 experience would be an added advantage.
· Work experience to involve using data analytics, process improvement and digitisation work processes using robotics and intelligence tools (please elaborate on these experience/projects).
· Added advantage experience in logistics, supply-chain management or maritime industry AND/OR data analytics skills;
· Versatile in working on assignments/projects independently as a team member, and/or managing a small team of 1 to 2 staff, supervising and reviewing team members’ work. Good people. Project and time management skills.
· Good communication and presentation skills.
· Comfortable to communicate and discuss issues with management and staff from different levels.
· Able to structure materials in a logical, coherent, succinct manner for report writing (MS WORD) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint) to communicate findings, outcome and recommendations effectively.
· High proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS).
· Business intelligence tools (for e.g., ACI, IDEA, Python R, QlikView, Power BI).
· Exposure and/or experience in leveraging on new technology and robotics tools, such as RPA and NLP to enhance work processes and reducing manual work.
· Data Analytics, scripting or programming knowledge in software to manage and analyse large volume of data.
· Visualization to design dashboards and insightful reporting.
· High proficiency in English and Mandarin (for assignments in China) – both written and spoken.

· Proactive and resourceful with good problem-solving skills;
· Detailed yet maintains a helicopter view (systems thinking/clarity of purpose) of the situation/assignment.
· Strong governance and continuous improvement mindset and willing to challenge the norm for enhancement.
· Adaptable keeps up new technologies and impact on the profession.
· Strong drive for results and able to manage strict timelines and work pressure effectively.
