Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Familiar with local transportation methods, including conventional trucking and LCL.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to schedule deliveries effectively.
- Track and oversee ongoing jobs to ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Handle job closure processes to ensure timely billing within the designated timeframe.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
- Assist in resolving logistical challenges or delays as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and transactions.
- Manage permit declarations for LCL shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management or a related field is a plus.
- Relevant knowledge of Singapore roads, yard and port operations.
- Proficiency in import/export permit declarations.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A good team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
