Job Responsibilities:
- Develop business applications for entities within the Group.
- Oversee project scoping, create functional and technical specifications, manage project rollouts, data migration, data archiving, maintenance, system upgrades, supporting activities, and vendor management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to understand operational needs, analyze processes, and identify opportunities for automation. Create solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Integrate various business applications to ensure consistency, relevance, and visibility.
- Actively contribute to automating business processes to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Provide online training and retraining for users across different geographic locations.
- Ensure that the design and implementation of applications prioritize quality and security.
- Offer ongoing support for existing applications.
- Work closely with colleagues to continuously innovate app functionality and design, contributing to new features and modules.
- Track outstanding tickets and proactively update clients on the status of resolutions.
Requirements:
- Diploma/bachelor’s degree in computer science/software engineering/computer engineering or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with strong development skills in Microsoft technologies like .NET, C#, MVC framework, Javascript framework etc.
- Solid understanding of database design, query, and systems (SQL).
- Experience in cloud hosting (e.g. Azure or AWS) and Agile methodology is preferred.
- Exposure to programming language, React, is a bonus
- Prior experience in manufacturing environment and ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and clear manner
