Responsibilities
- Project accounting for the ongoing and completed projects
- Reconciliation of projects related general ledger accounts for monthly and yearly closing
- Reviews project financials, cashflow and management reporting
- Variance analysis of project related general ledger accounts for monthly and yearly closing management & statutory reporting
- Prepares, monitors and manages quarterly forecasts and annual budgets relating to projects
- Business partner to commercial units on project related finance matters
- Reviews corporate finance processes/policies surrounding projects to ensure proper internal controls
- Proposes and initiates improvement to work processes to enhance efficiency
- Supports internal and external audit activities and addresses risk management
- Any other ad-hoc matters determined by the supervisors
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field
- Strong proficiency in financial reporting standards (particularly on projecting accounting) and SAP Financial knowledge is required
- Experience in the engineering, construction, oil & gas or energy industry or exposure in big 4 auditing firms would be a strong advantage
- Meticulous, detailed, self-motivated and responsible individual who can meet tight reporting deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
