Responsibilities
- Utilize engineering principles to develop practical and cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare designs, documentation, specifications, proposals, reports, and other materials to meet project requirements.
- Independently identify issues and initiatives to be addressed.
- Create and deliver client reports within established timelines.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with budget and scope.
- Collaborate with engineers and drafting teams to ensure documentation is accurate and timely.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and stay informed about industry developments.
- Stay current with advancements in engineering practices and methodologies.
- Manage medium to large-scale projects, including pricing, tenders, technical documents, scheduling, and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Contribute to establishing discipline-related policies and procedures within the organization.
- Support the overall management and profitability of projects.
- Ensure adherence to relevant Codes, local regulations, and safety/quality policies.
- Assist in managing projects from financial, technical, and contractual perspectives.
- Provide guidance on best practices and share technical expertise with team members.
- Mentor junior staff and review their work, including engineers, drafters, and graduates.
- Help with staff training, including recruitment and development.
- Coordinate with clients and consultants on design, construction, and submission matters.
- Participate in technical and site meetings to address design challenges and site issues.
Requirements
- Candidate with experience in Large Scale Building Space Projects Experience in Singapore and Overseas is preferred.
- Candidate that have experience in handling large scale projects with 15 years of consultancy experience is preferred. Candidates with lesser years of experience can be considered.
- Successful candidate must be a registered PE in Singapore
- Master or Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Key attributes include the ability to think innovatively and outside the box, adaptability, flexibility, and have the right mindset. Must be results-oriented and demonstrate diligence as an engineer
