Key Responsibilities
· Carry out numerical modelling using MIKE by DHI suite of software
· Provide specialist technical input to EIA studies and/or coastal engineering/modelling studies
· Assist the Project Manager (technical and financial) of ongoing major marine and terrestrial EIA projects and coastal engineering/modelling studies.
· Assist in preparation of technical and financial proposals to secure new projects
· Performs QA within own field of expertise
· Maintains project schedule and reports project status
· Support regular client (external or internal) contact
Education and Experience
· Postgraduate degree in a relevant environmental discipline and/or civil/coastal engineering
· 3 to 5 years experience undertaking marine and terrestrial EIA studies, and/or coastal engineering and/or numerical modelling studies (particularly in tropical areas)
· Knowledge of sediment plume physics, especially relating to dredging and reclamation
· Experience with the MIKE by DHI suite of numerical models will be considered favorably
· Project management training course or proposal writing training course
