Assistive Technology Hub is looking for a Speech & Language Therapist to join their team.
Responsibilities:
The Speech and Language Therapist , AT Hub assesses clients for their functional needs and challenges in the areas of speech and communication and plans Assistive Technology interventions that includes trial ,training and recommendation of suitable AT/AAC solutions to clients in need ;training and supporting teachers, caregivers, and parents in the intervention strategies, and processes. The individual may work in collaborative and transdisciplinary teams. The job scope also entails managing risk and service quality, assisting senior colleagues in projects, specialised clinics, research work, performing departmental administration and operational tasks and participating in continuing education. The individual should possess effective communication, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements :
· A relevant Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Speech and Language Pathology / Therapy recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council, Singapore with Full Registration, and keen to develop competencies for self and professional development in the areas of AT/AAC .
· At least two years’ experience with clients with multiple disabilities, providing AT solutions.
· An Assistive Technology Professional Certificate / Trainings in the field of AT/AAC will be an added advantage.
