- Position Title: Operations Officer (Air Freight) /Air Operation Officer
- Working Location: Changi Airfreight Centre
- Working Hours: 5.5 days, Mon - Fri (9 am – 6 pm) Sat (9 am – 1 pm) (alternate Saturday upon confirmation
- Salary Package: Basic Salary +OT + AWS
- Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities
- Start with handling air import duties, then gradually take on export responsibilities.
- Manage incoming alerts for cargo release and coordination of delivery.
- Inspect inbound cargo at the warehouse and report any issues to the team leader.
- Follow up on jobs from customer service, draft and verify airway bills (AWBs).
- Prepare and process AWBs, documentation, and customs declarations for outbound cargo.
- Check export cargo at the warehouse and attach airline labels as necessary.
- Communicate with customers and international agents, manage emails.
- Pre-clear exports and imports with customs.
- Input shipment details into the CCN system for customs compliance.
- Handle billing and operational-related correspondence and tasks for both air imports and exports.
- Other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned.
