Position: Freezer Truck Delivery Driver (Low Cabin)
Schedule: 6 days work week
Responsibilities:
- Delivery Operations: Safely operate a 10ft freezer truck for transporting frozen goods to designated locations.
Ensure timely delivery of all orders, maintaining the required temperature for products.
Load and unload products, ensuring they are secured and protected during transport.
- Route Management: Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize delays.
Communicate with dispatch regarding any route changes, delays, or issues encountered.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns.
Obtain signatures and confirm receipt of delivered goods as required.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the freezer truck to ensure it is in safe and working condition.
Report any vehicle maintenance needs or issues to management promptly.
Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Additional Duties:
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading and unloading processes.
- Assist in training new drivers, if applicable.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines related to transportation and food handling.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving a 10ft truck or similar vehicle preferred.
- Knowledge of safe food handling and transportation practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Singaporean or PR only can apply.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Prolonged periods of driving and sitting.
