Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Technology Execution – Lead and deliver NAND TD strategic road map while constantly driving cost reduction to be in leadership position. Continually monitor yield and product performance metrics and drive projects to improve the yield and quality of NAND products to meet required technology milestones.
Collaboration Excellence – Ability to define clear requirements and specs for and effectively partner with Integration and Process development teams in TD to deliver on time solutions.
Talent Development, Retention and Engagement – Develop internal leadership capabilities and technical expertise to enable a world class technical and managerial team. Actively build a team culture conducive to attracting and retaining the best technology employees in the world.
DEI – Foster an organization that embraces and leverages on Diversity, Equality & Inclusion and recognizes its contribution to a stronger team, embedding best practices in operations and hiring decisions
Drive BIC Quality and AI/DS – Drives a culture of continuous improvement in the quality and methodology of solutions developed while supporting the demands of technology development. First hand familiarity with massive data extraction, analysis and be up to data on latest innovations and drive teams towards AI and Data science solutions.
Communication & Change Management – Enable and ensure real-time communication of roadmap, progress and projection to senior leaders in Technology Development and products group particularly at the senior leadership levels.
Partner Support – Provide required support to the manufacturing sites receiving a transferred process, which includes accurate documentation and training of personnel to ensure successful technology transfer.
Budget Management – Efficient resource and budget management
University partnerships – Proactively build and strengthen university partnerships for talent pipelining and research collaboration opportunities.
Safety Advocate – Understand safety guidelines and ensure safety protocol is followed for all areas and meeting the priorities in accordance with site goals.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s/Master’s or PhD degree in science or engineering disciplines
- At least 5 years proven leadership success as a Manager/ Director, with at least 2-3 years in technology Development highly preferred
- Recognized as an advocate for Micron Values and aligning to Micron’s Vision and Mission
- Strong organizational and technical skills with demonstrated successes in engagement with WW teams.
- Recognized as an excellent builder of high performing teams, mentor, motivator, technical expert and an active and impartial talent spotter, developer and leader
- High demonstration self-awareness, knowing personal strengths and opportunities for development and actively seeks feedback for continuous improvement
- Hands on capability and conversant with data analysis and AI tools
- Demonstrated strong technology learning ability and be comfortable with complexity and ambiguity
- Possess fundamental understanding of semiconductor processes and devices with an intuitive understanding of technology development challenges to deliver results
- Good command of design interface, PDK building
- Proven track record of excellent data analysis, interpretation, problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent communicator with the ability to adjust approach depending on situation and expectations
- Ability to provide strategic perspectives in collaboration with various leadership teams (e.g. various sites) to deliver results
