Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Architect - Data Analyst with over 10 years experience .
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and extensive experience in Microsoft and other data-related tools.
The candidate will lead the design and development of data solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Expertise in MSBI tools, Power BI, and experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Data Warehousing solutions across multiple domains .
- Manage the architecture, design, development, integration, and enhancement of data systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform data modeling, and develop Data Warehousing solutions.
- Expertise in Microsoft tools including SSIS, ADF, and Microsoft Fabric for managing ETL processes, pipelines, and analytics.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards with interactive visualizations using DAX and Power Query.
- Utilize strong SQL skills to conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL loads.
- Work on PySpark/Databricks and Microsoft Fabric to support data engineering and analytics needs.
- Perform data cleansing and maintain data integrity in data warehouses and marts.
- Work with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other relational databases for optimized data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement and scaling of data systems.
Core Competencies
- Data Warehousing & ETL: Expertise in MSBI (SSIS, SSRS), Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, and Snowflake.
- Business Intelligence: Advanced skills in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Data Integration: Proven experience in data lakes and data warehousing solutions with MS Fabric.
- Database Management: Extensive experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Timescale DB, MySQL, and Snowflake.
- Data Engineering: Experience with PySpark/Databricks and managing data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
- Performance Tuning: Proficient in SQL and ETL performance optimization.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud-based analytics and data flow management using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
Skills
- Strong expertise in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing Solutions design.
- Extensive experience with SQL for RDBMS such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Gen2 Data Flow) and Data Factory.
- Knowledge of PySpark, Spark SQL, and other big data tools.
- Proficiency in Power BI including DAX and Power Query for advanced reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on critical performance tuning and optimization of data loads.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in Microsoft technologies (MSBI, Azure, Power BI) are a plus.
