OVERVIEW

The Director, Digital is responsible for close collaboration and engagement with departments in the Company such as Finance, Operations, HR, and Marketing/Sales functions to create and execute Digital Strategy and plan that will bridge Digital assets and existing practices to the evolving needs of the Organisation. Working with local and remote teams, the Director, Digital, will ensure seamless integration of all business applications within this growing Organization. He/She reports to the CEO based in Singapore and functionally to the Digital & Technology Group team. The Director, Digital acts as a true business consultant to the leaders in the Company with technological dimension to strategic priorities.


RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Implement, manage, upgrade or redesign Digital projects:

  • Manage the ALM (Application Life cycle Management) of all the local software according to the roadmap of the editors and the guidelines of the Babilou Family Teams (Finance, Digital, Sales, HR, etc)
  • Lead, coordinate and monitor operational project tool as required for the planning, development, testing, and implementation phases according to departmental and IT guidelines
  • Work with local and group teams (support functions and operations) to deliver change management to ensure new processes/technology are deployed effectively
  • Train end-users to accurately and consistently use systems
  • Manage and complete projects in a timely manner within budget controls and defined quality standards
  • Provide communications regarding projects status to all appropriate parties throughout the lifecycle of the project, including communication with group headquarter (overseas)
  • Ensure the effective integration of existing programs and strategies with newly acquired assets/schools so that long- and short-term business goals are attained, where applicable


2. Work on Finance system management:

  • Map and maintain the accounting system to the parent system that includes general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, financial reporting and budgeting;
  • Coordinate the build (in case of new acquisition of entities / countries) and the maintenance of interfaces between the Microsoft Dynamics AX365 accounting software and the payroll system, banks, the local authorities (GST, etc)
  • Coordination of local team for the Group Finance EPM implementation


3. Manage the CRM system/Operational tools:

  • Management of the current CRM for the business
  • Lead the implementation and functionalities of the CRM including the interconnection with the other software of the IT Landscape
  • Leads acquisition strategy implementation and tracking through the system
  • Improve the CRM tool including reporting, BI tools, KPI’s and interface with other Digital softwares
  • Coordination of local team for the implementation of new Analytics/Performance reporting tool/processes to help drive business decisions
  • Coordination with the integrators of the local solutions regarding the evolutions required for the performance analysis needs in the Organisation


4. Manage and is overall responsible for the Digital assets and performance in the Company including commodities, network, cyber security, PCs, Contract management with local providers according to guidelines provided by the Babilou Family team


5. Responsible for designing the internal processes around our tools and workflow



JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 15 years of project management experience in an application/software development environment, preferably with experience driving solutions on Enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP systems, Sales/Service tools, HR systems)
  • Experience in end-to-end IT project management and the system development lifecycle, leading and supporting cross-functional and IT transformation initiatives and facilitating discussions with executives
  • Experience using Finance systems and with Finance business processes (Accruals, Revenue Recognition, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Dynamics AX is appreciated or deep experience in a comparable CRM/ERP system
  • Proficient with project management principles (e.g. resource allocation, cost estimation, risk analysis)
  • Demonstrated practical experience, flexibility, and adaptability with multiple project management approaches (waterfall, agile)
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams with an ability to drive team collaboration, communication, and effectiveness
  • Strong reporting and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to effectively articulate complex concepts and ideas to broad audiences
  • Experience establishing new processes and successfully managing change
  • Results oriented, proactive, organised
  • Proven track record of effective decision-making
  • Experience coaching/mentoring others
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills can effectively drive discussions and decisions toward desired results, able to get things done without formal authority
  • Experience effectively partnering with vendors and consultants
  • Experience effectively working with globally distributed teams
