Responsibilities:
- Sourcing, procuring and leasing of facilities
- Service and cost monitoring of outsourced logistics/ transport services
- Develop new and enhance existing logistics capabilities and services
- Implement general SOP’s, ISO 9000
- Lead the overall running of the warehousing, distribution, inventory management, customer service and billing operations in an efficient and professional manner
- Implement regulatory requirements related to health & safety and specific industries
- Conduct and performance incidents reporting, employees performance report
- A good control of stock inventory, accuracy and accountability.
- Conduct training needs analysis
- Prepare commercial proposals for the sales team
- Lead RFP/RFI/RFQ logistics requests
- Familiar with a range of commodities from furniture, retail, e-commerce, luxury
- Lead and motivate staff to achieve company, suppliers and customer's objectives.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Experience in warehouse operation and supervising warehouse staff
· 3PL experience is an advantage
· Forklift license added advantage
· Proficient in computer skills ie. MS Office, SAP and WMS
· Possess good communication skills with both internal and external customers.
