Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Coordinate and manage project activities to ensure timely and successful completion
Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to review project status and address any concerns.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor project teams, including automation engineers, analysts, and other relevant personnel.
- Assign tasks, set expectations, and monitor team performance.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Technical Oversight:
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions.
- Ensure that automation technologies align with organizational goals and standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project risks and implement contingency plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost control.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project requirements.
- Ensure that projects are delivered within budget constraints.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that automation solutions meet established standards and requirements.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical specifications.
- Prepare and present reports on project performance, outcomes, and lessons learned.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, with a focus on automation or technology projects.
- Strong understanding of automation technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, or similar) are a plus.
