We are seeking a dynamic Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team. This role requires expertise in providing both technical and functional support for Java-based and Cobol mainframe applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with users, developers, and business teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance system performance, and optimize functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Assist in the development and troubleshooting of Java applications.
- Write, optimize, and execute SQL queries for reporting and data analysis.
- Provide technical support to users, ensuring the resolution of issues and improving system performance.
Functional Support:
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
- Collaborate with users and developers to enhance business processes and application functionality.
- Conduct testing of new features to ensure alignment with business requirements before deployment.
Problem Solving:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Java applications and SQL databases.
- Propose solutions to improve system functionality and operational efficiency.
Teamwork:
- Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business users to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to system improvements and the automation of processes for better efficiency.
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Java and Cobol Mainframe programming.
- Proficiency in SQL databases with the ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
