Visiting Research Fellow in International Relations (South Asia)
The Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) at the National University of Singapore invites applications for a Visiting Research Fellow in International Relations to commence in November 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The successful candidate will be part of the Institute’s International Relations, Multipolarity and Multilateralism research cluster. The position is open to candidates specialising in international relations, foreign policies and national security impulses of the South Asian states.
Established in 2004, ISAS is dedicated to research on contemporary South Asia.
Criteria
The candidate shall possess the following criteria:
- A PhD in South Asia’s international relations, South Asian studies or related research fields.
- Strong theoretical and empirical grounding in the areas of South Asian foreign policy, national security, multipolarity, multilateralism and geopolitics.
- Experience in mobilising research project funding and in dealing with international research institutes on South Asia.
