Job Description / Key Requirements:
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- 10+years of experience in implementing data governance solutions with a strong background in deploying such solutions, encompassing both on-premise and cloud-based models in banking or financial industry.
- Must have Metadata Management Tools experience: Proficiency in using metadata management tools such as Informatica IDMC, IBM Cloud Pak for Data or equivalent tools (Collibra, Alation, Solidatus) for at least 5+ years.
- Data Lineage Tools: Experience with data lineage tools like Informatica IDMC, IBM Manta or similar solutions to establish and visualize end-to-end data flows. Identify and build both business and technical lineage, including strategies for fixing lineage breaks – Must
- 5+ years recent working experience as a Technical Project Manager in Metadata Management - such as Informatica IDMC or IBM Cloud Pak for Data in Banking domain is a must.
- Must: Database Technologies: In-depth knowledge of various database technologies, including but not limited to Hadoop, Teradata, SAS, Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres, and Cassandra DB.
- Must: ETL/ELT Tools: Expertise in ETL/ELT tools like Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, and other data integration platforms to understand and document transformation logic.
- Scripting and Programming: Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Stored Procedures, Bteq scripts, Spart ETL, Python) and programming languages to support metadata extraction and manipulation.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services relevant to metadata management and data governance. Strong background in addressing security considerations for cloud-based implementations is crucial, demonstrating the ability to design and implement secure solutions in alignment with industry standards.
- On-Premise Container Solutions: Expertise with Red Hat Open Container Platform; showcasing proficiency in overcoming complexities related to deploying, managing, and optimizing applications in this environment. Integrate various components seamlessly and ensure a cohesive and efficient operation within the OpenShift cluster.
- Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau to create intuitive representations of metadata and data lineage.
- Knowledge in Data modelling, working with calculations, leveraging the Set Analysis.
- Experience in Implementing RBAC policies for various user groups such as Data Owners, stewards, consumers/stakeholders etc within the metadata management tool.
- Implementation of out-of-the-box as well as custom workflows, user personas, custom reports / dashboards within the metadata management tool.

- Business Glossary Management: Strong understanding of business glossary concepts and the ability to work with business stakeholders to define and manage business terms and their relationships.
- Data Governance Frameworks: Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices, including BCBS239, and the ability to implement governance policies for metadata and data lineage.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of regulatory requirements related to data management, ensuring compliance in metadata and data lineage implementations.
- Should have worked in large scale data warehouse & on-premise Power BI, Qlik based visualisation
