Job Description:
Based in Singapore and reporting to the Group CEO, the Sector Leader (SL) will be responsible for developing business from the International Development Agencies (IDA) sector, within ESC’s geographic footprint and within the Asia Pacific Region.
The IDA sector generates work that lies primarily within ESC's Environmental and Social (E&S) Service Line and Contamination and Waste (“C&W”) Service Line. The Services ESC will provide to IDA clients coverbiodiversity, EIA/ESIA/ ESHIA, social surveys/assessment/resettlement, waste management infrastructure, water supply, and sanitation etc.
The SL – IDA role is primarily a business development one, working closely with ESC’s clients across the region and growing the IDA business in accordance with the company’s business strategy. Frequent trips will be required to ESC’s offices around the region where projects are being delivered.
Job Requirements:
· Provide IDA Sector management and development, advice and feedback to the Executive Leadership Team and the Senior Management Team.
· Day-to-day direction and management of the IDA SL team and co-ordination with country managers and sector leaders across the ESC Group.
· Preparation of Regional business development planning for the IDA Sector. Identifying leads, contacting clients, attending regional seminars, conferences and business forums for the International development Aid community.
· Conduct market research, and analyse competitive landscape, on emerging opportunities.
· Preparing IDA project Expressions of Interest (EoIs) and Proposals for project opportunities.
· Preparing and maintaining IDA annual business and financial plans.
· Leading IDA project teams to provide advice and support on technical, contractual and managerial problems and overseeing client management and liaison.
· Work with Project managers to ensure implementation of effective resource allocation, capacity planning, and project management practices to optimize operational efficiency and maximize client satisfaction.
· Mentoring and providing technical and non-technical guidance and support to IDA and related project staff.
· Supporting regional E&S projects in proposal preparation, as well as proposal and report review.
· Cultivate relationships with key clients, industry partners, and relevant stakeholders to enhance the organization's reputation and identify and secure new business opportunities.
