Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of traditional and contemporary Chinese desserts.
- Experiment with new flavors and presentation techniques to develop seasonal dessert menus.
- Ensure consistency in taste and presentation while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create a cohesive dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients specific to dessert preparation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or dessert chef, with a focus on Chinese desserts preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traditional Chinese dessert techniques and ingredients.
- Creativity and passion for experimenting with flavors and presentations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
