Our client is a global MNC in real estate and investment management. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Building Services Manager to be part of their Facilities Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Duties of Facility Maintenance Engineer:
- Engineering Oversight: Manage the maintenance and operations of critical equipment and building services. Conduct regular site reviews to identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity improvement, and the adoption of best practices in engineering and sustainability.
- Process Optimization: Act as a Subject Matter Expert to refine processes, tools, and documentation. Ensure compliance with critical environment management (CEM) standards, maintain preventive maintenance programs, and oversee service contracts and contractor performance.
- Safety and Risk Management: Champion safety procedures, including crisis management, business continuity, and emergency protocols. Lead risk management and mitigation initiatives in collaboration with site teams and vendors.
- Strategic Planning and Reporting: Ensure all risk mitigation plans are aligned with client policies and procedures. Monitor and evaluate all critical environment equipment to ensure optimal performance. Participate in asset lifecycle planning and implement improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Data Centre Foundation Certificate (DCFC))
- 4 - 6 years relevant experience with exposure in Data Centre
