Responsibilities:
- Plan and strategises dormitory operations and service enhancement through the assessment of opportunities and make recommendations to the Directors for improvement in operational policies and procedures.
- Oversees the implementation of duty roster and manning plan for dormitory employees and reviews dormitory employees’ work performances to ensure their services meet the expectations
- Reviews manpower requirements and requisitions by team members to assess on hiring needs for dormitory operations (i.e.accomodation, meal management, services, maintenance and etc.) and partners with recruitment on candidates selection, when required
- Oversees the management of the facilities including the tendering process of new vendors such as canteen, mini-mart etc
- Responsible to provide guidance on the preferred communication method to resolve operational, event and dormitory regulatory issues at the dormitory
- Acts as the company’s chief liaison officer with public authorities (i.e.NEA, ICA, BCA, JTC, URA, SPF, SCDF, MHA, MOM and MWC) and attends meeting, briefing or events organised by various government statutory boards to obtain the latest information on dormitory operations and legislations
- Responsible to ensure that the Dormitory are in compliance with the dormitory regulations and all licences are renewed on time with no lapses
- Evaluates stakeholders’ feedbacks, residents’ survey and reports (i.e.NEA reports, equipment maintenance records, staff training records, food operators’ food hygiene certifications, etc.) to initiate corrective actions and further improve on the dormitory operation
- Responsible to ensure prompt payment to the vendors that are engaged by the dormitory
- Ensure that Security measures are put in place and there are proper manning of the CCTVs and that the Security staff manning are sufficient
- Arrange monthly or quarterly meetings for the Board of Directors and provide updates on the Dormitory Operations, Management of Accounts etc
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Real Estate/ Building / Facilities Management or equivalent
- 3 years of management experience preferably in Dormitory, Security and Facilities Management
- Strong knowledge in dormitory management, building and mechanical engineering for facilities management
- Good knowledge in fire safety management
