What you will be doing
This role aims to create a positive customer service experience for our members.
- Providing excellent customer service to Members, addressing enquiries, facilitating bookings and/or requests related to Club facilities, programmes, services, and activities, and/or other ad-hoc requests;
- The Club Services Associate will be rotated in various front desks to effectively deliver customer services to our members and other stakeholders regarding Club programmes, activities, promotions, and updates;
- Performing general administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, managing the tidiness of reception premises, and maintaining Club correspondence;
- Assisting with membership-related applications, such as new member registrations, membership card replacement, and membership inquiries;
- Maintaining accurate membership records and databases;
- Processing payments and handling cash and online transactions for membership dues, and other Club booking and services with accuracy and maintaining appropriate records;
- Monitoring and controlling access to Club facilities, verifying membership credentials or guest passes, and enforcing Club policies and regulations to ensure the safety and security of members, when necessary;
- Addressing any member feedback, and/or concerns professionally;
- In addition, proactively aiming to achieve satisfactory resolutions and escalate issues to the Duty Manager when necessary;
- Handle correspondence with reciprocal and affiliated clubs;
- Be in proper attire at all times when attending to members’ enquiries during the stipulated shift hours;
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time by management.
What we are looking for
- Preferably GCE N/O Levels (or equivalent) or ITE Nitec/Higher Nitec in Services Management / Hospitality Operations / Event Management / Sport Management / Business Administration;
- Proficiency in oral and written English, another language is a plus (to liaise with the English & Mandarin-speaking associates);
- At least 2 years of working experience in the hospitality industry handling frontline services;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- A positive disposition and strong team player;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills required;
- Rostered rotated shift duties on a 5.5-day work week.
