Responsibilities
Application Monitoring Responsibilities
- Implementation: Define and implement application monitoring in collaboration with the build team.
- Supervision: Oversee daily and monthly processes, addressing user requests in partnership with project, infrastructure, and production teams.
- Support: Manage overnight batches during Singapore morning/afternoon hours, ensuring swift analysis and resolution of issues to minimize downtime.
- Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on data quality for the risk chain, with a focus on intensified monthly activities.
Incidents and Requests Management
- Application Support: Provide level 1 and level 2 support to business users, including traders, risk managers, market risk operators, and back-office/middle-office analysts.
- Incident Management: Analyze and manage incidents, problems, and requests effectively.
Problem Management and Continuous Improvement
- Knowledge Base: Develop and maintain a knowledge base for each application in coordination with build and operations teams.
- Collaboration: Work with the build team to prioritize problems and track resolutions, contributing to long-term solutions.
- Non-Functional Requirements: Provide non-functional requirements for implementing monitoring as code whenever applicable.

- Proactive Approach: Maintain a proactive mindset regarding security, incident prevention, productivity, and service quality improvement.
- Capital Markets Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong interest in and understanding of capital market functions.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in application support activities.
- Certification: ITIL certification.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Capital Markets domain and related market activities.
- Software Proficiency: Relevant experience with Asset Control software.
- Financial Instruments: Familiarity with financial instruments (Bonds, Rates, Equity, etc.), trading lifecycle, and market data.
- External Data Sources: Experience working with external sources like Bloomberg and Reuters.
- Static Market Data Expertise: Knowledge of data types, sources, and uses within financial systems, including reference and price data.
- Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in SQL.
High-level proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting.
Knowledge of XML, PL/SQL, MQ, CFT, and Control-M.
Familiarity with monitoring solutions (e.g., ITRS Geneos, Elastic Search). - Key Abilities:SLA & KPI management, effective client communication, and interaction.
Predictive analysis, consulting, and escalation management.
Risk analysis and project execution.
Appetite for continuous improvement and automation. - Soft Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Autonomous, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
Diligence and perseverance in achieving goals, along with effective time management.
Shift Timings
- Work hours : 8:45am – 6:30pm SGT and shift rotation 5PM – 2AM SGT
- Rotational Week-end support.
