- Monitor and ensure projects and contracts are called in timely manner and within budget allocated.
- Work closely with Property Teams on scope of works on calling of cyclical works, including lift replacement projects.
- Provide end-to-end process of calling tender, putting up papers for Sub Committee and Councils approval, award of tender, updating of records in HDB and TC systems (Cyclical Maintenance Management System and Town Council Management System), support audit checks.
- Ensure that the processes comply strictly with the Town Councils Act and Town Councils Financial Rules and Compliance requirements
- Monitor the progress of the projects and working closely with Project Team on progress claims and variation orders and conducts checks
- Value add on suggestions to improve on design or progress of works
- Take accountability and ownership of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards and outcomes in building up a Safety Culture, including the liaison for safety audits.
- Assist GM to put up strategic operational plans for approval.
- Perform any related duties as required and directed.
Requirement
- Degree with relevant studies in Facilities, Property managements
- Preferably with experience in managing town councils' projects and contracts
- Computer skills Microsoft word, Excel Office, Power Point
- Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm / 5.5 days
- Budget: up to $5000
