Chateraise Singapore is seeking a Director to spearhead our upcoming expansion projects
Job Role:
The role will be primarily responsible for managing Singapore operations and to identify new businesses to establish viabilities and building up business cases.
You will be working closely with various investors in the planning and execution of business strategy and oversee partnership projects, leading to support existing businesses and the formation of new business lines.
This shall include development of business proposals, negotiations, and execution of the business partnership agreements.
You must have experience in structured business expansion experience, leading to new businesses.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of local trends including pertaining to our businesses and industries through survey, meetings and commissioned studies
- Derive insights and implications for Chateraise's business strategies and growth opportunities
- Develop value propositions, programmes and business cases through working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Create, negotiate and clinch business opportunities and growth to achieve positive outcomes for the Company to improve the overall business model, keeping ahead of any disruptions and adding to the revenue streams through innovative products and services
- Develop, validate and construct business models for new businesses.
- Implement strategies and projects with clear key responsibilities and action plans for execution by the business teams
- Lead and achieved desired outcomes on discussions and negotiations with relevant investors and business partners
Qualifications & Work Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management role in a Confectionary/ FMCG or a successful startup with a proven record in partnerships with tangible results.
- Degree in Business Management, Economics or related field
- Experience in financial modeling would be an advantage
Skills
- Excellent analytical thinking with an ability to analyze ambiguous issues and translate them to insights and action items
- Strong business acumen and a keen understanding of business research, risk and audit matters
- Assertive, meticulous and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Good analytical, writing and presentation skills
- Japanese language (JLPT 1) is mandatory for liaising with Japan HQ
