Principal Business Consultant - TPH

The Consultant will provide expert guidance on the configuration and implementation of Temenos Payments solutions across the project lifecycle. With a deep understanding of payment schemes, SWIFT, and ISO20022 standards, the candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that meet client requirements. A strong background in Temenos Payments Hub is essential for this role.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Recognized as a specialist in complex functional and business matters. Works independently and in a collaborative nature.
  • Analyze client’s complex business requirements and relate them to Temenos payments product capability
  • Collaborate with clients to write specifications (BRD’s and FSD’s), when needed, for local development and ensure that the development team has a clear understanding of these specifications
  • Identify and address project gaps, proposing feasible solutions including workarounds or process adjustments that align with project scope.
  • Determine and confirm specific Temenos product customizations based on defined business requirements.
  • Prepare and perform the configuration of TEMENOS products through the definition of static and semi-static data for the installation of the core banking system
  • Prepare and perform the functional testing to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of the client's operations to identify opportunities for T24 optimization, recommend best practices, and mitigate potential risks that can damage the client's business or contradict legal requirements
  • Conduct workshops and demonstrate the product capabilities to meet specific project needs
  • Manage the communications with all stakeholders and be a single point of contact for the end-to-end solutions.
  • Conduct end-user training and mentoring

Requirements:

  • Required to hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of experience in Temenos Solutions Consultancy, and Expert Services, ideally in a banking environment.
  • Experience in Temenos Payments hub implementation projects will be highly preferred.
  • Show in-depth knowledge of standard banking processes and payment modules.
  • Strong payments domain and TPH product knowledge. Other T24 modules i.e AA Loans, AA Deposits, Treasury Modules (MM, FX, and Swaps), Securities, and Corporate Actions will be an added advantage.
  • Show full understanding and ability to leverage the TEMENOS Implementation Methodology
  • Proven track record in end-to-end implementation and delivery of T24 Core Banking systems
  • Other: Analytical, organized, team player and able to work in a Multicultural environment, excellent presentation skills.
