My client is looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of their company. In this role, you will work closely with the executive team to manage the company’s finances, develop budgets, and provide financial insights to support the growth of portfolio companies.
Salary: Up to $10,000
Location: One-North
Key Responsibilities:
1. Finance Management
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company and its portfolio companies.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Collaborate with auditors and tax agents to handle audits and corporate tax filings.
2. Budget and Cash Management
- Prepare annual budgets and review cash flow for the company and its portfolio companies.
- Conduct periodic budget reviews to assess financial performance and identify areas of improvement.
3. Investment Management
- Assist the CEO of portfolio companies by preparing financial information, including revenue and profit forecasts and valuation models, to support development plans.
4. Corporate Administration
- Maintain the capitalization table for the company and its portfolio companies.
- Coordinate with the corporate secretary on share issuance, options, board meetings, and AGMs.
5. Internal Controls and Processes
- Implement and maintain a proper approval hierarchy and signatory requirements.
- Review and improve work processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and protocols related to financial operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial forecasting, data analysis, project finance and shared capital
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Aptitude for critical thinking and problem-solving.
- CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
