Job Responsibilities
- Manage specifically all SG operations as applicable to QSTAT requirement ensuring compliance to all agreed company policies, procedures and pricing structures.
- Develop and implement customer focused operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure the achievement and maintenance of agreed operations / CS service levels and standards.
- Liaise with company senior management to support and implement growth strategies.
- Manage and distribute weekly / monthly and quarterly reporting to the senior team specific to SG activity.
- Work with the network team to enhance, develop and implement growth strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability within SG.
- Ensure budget requirements are met as applicable.
- To manage the training of all applicable designates & service partners ensuring their ability to manage all tasks.
- To ensure Network / Vendor partner compliance to all agreed company policies, procedures and pricing structures.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years Experience within a Specialist (Biopharm) Courier organization to a supervisory / manager level.
- GDP Training and Qualifications specific to transportation.
- Industry Management / Industry Experience ensuring ability to meet all tasks / responsibilities listed above and with qualifications as noted below.
- Experienced Apple Mac user and with Apple Mac software.
- Global working experience – at minimum having working experience of at least 1 year in either/both UK / US
- Specialist (Biopharm) Courier Operations & Network Management experience.
- Full knowledge and experience of NFO and time critical logistics operations essential.
- Excellent understanding of Specialist Courier / Freight Operations including Import / Export / Warehouse & Transport.
- Excellent understanding of Regional & World Geography. Specific knowledge of Clinical Trial Logistics to include: - Temperature Controlled Shipping and packaging.
- Clinical Trial Courier Operations and client set up.
- Broad understanding of regulatory requirements specific to Clinical Trial Logistics.
- Reverse logistics.
- Excellent negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Teamwork skills and strong self-motivation ability.
- Good numeric / financial ability.
