As the Finance Manager at our Company, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing all financial activities to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with various departments to provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making processes. Job Title: Finance Manager


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
    Analyze financial performance and key metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for improving profitability and efficiency.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and objectives.
    Prepare regular forecasts and variance analyses to track performance against budget and identify areas for improvement or corrective action.
  3. Financial Reporting and Compliance:Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    Maintain detailed account records and ledgers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
    Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax filings, financial reporting standards, and internal control procedures.
  4. Cash Management and Treasury:Manage cash flow forecasting and optimization to ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations and strategic investments.
    Monitor banking relationships and oversee treasury functions, including cash disbursements, collections, and investment strategies.
  5. Cost Control and Optimization:Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through rigorous analysis of operational expenses and overhead costs.
    Implement cost control measures and monitor performance against targets to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
  6. Team Leadership and Development:Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
    Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in finance leadership roles within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the food sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial software preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing talent and driving results.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
