We are looking for an experienced Lead, Controlling to join our client.
This role is crucial for overseeing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis to offer insights into performance and assess the impact of financial trends.
Cash Flow Management:
- Optimize resource utilization through effective cash flow management.
- Forecast and analyze cash needs to support operations.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and inspections.
Financial Controls:
- Implement and maintain financial controls to protect company assets.
- Review and update financial policies and procedures regularly.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop the finance team, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
Tax Planning and Compliance:
- Oversee accurate and timely preparation of tax returns.
- Collaborate with tax advisors to optimize tax strategies.
- Ensure timely and accurate quarterly GST return submissions to IRAS.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or a related field.
- Proven experience in statutory reporting and group consolidation.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
