The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for all cleaning duties as appropriately assigned by the Cabin Crew Manager and Hotel Manager to maintain an efficient housekeeping operation in the hotel.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensures that all hotel public areas such as the hotel lobby, lounge, gym and all guest walkway areas are well cleaned in accordance to the room cleaning standards as outlined by the hotel.
- Ensures that guest rooms are well cleaned in accordance to the room cleaning standards as outlined by the hotel.
- Ensure all proper and appropriate amenities such as baby cot requests are placed in room for check-in.
- Ensure that all room status are updated for proper assignment of rooms.
- Ensures that assigned floor pantry areas are well stocked, neat and do not breach fire safety regulations.
- Finishes all jobs assigned according to the work schedule of the day.
- Reports all incidents and missing items immediately to the Cabin Crew Manager.
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Cabin Crew Manager, or Hotel Manager.
Knowledge, experience, skills required
- Ability to perform effectively under high pressure, self-motivated, high energy and enthusiastic.
- Basic understanding of the English language is essential.
- Able to do shift work; work on weekends, eve/public holidays as and when assigned.
