The Opportunity:
Global MNC, Chemical Manufacturing and Production Company
Location: West, Singapore
Basic Salary: Up to $2,300 (Based on experience)
Gross Salary: up to $4,000
Working hours: 12 hours per shift, following 3443 schedule, rotation shift of 8am – 8pm or vice versa.
Responsibilities:
Functional:
- Oversee and manage activities in the QC labs and associated areas, including:
- QC Change Room
- Sample Retain Room
- Inventory Room
- Other areas as per site layout
- Execute QC procedures (SOPs) for conducting lab analysis.
- Prepare and maintain instruments used in the laboratory.
- Collect raw material samples from the plant.
- Maintain general housekeeping of the lab.
- Assist supervisors in setting up new analytical methods and techniques.
- Ensure all data is accurately generated according to SOPs and transferred to SAP.
- Review and validate test results against predefined specifications.
- Promptly report abnormalities to the manager.
- Ensure safe work practices in the lab and surrounding areas.
- Comply with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standard requirements.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
EH&S (Environmental, Health & Safety):
- Adhere to lab safety procedures and comply with site safety regulations, processes, and work guidelines to ensure personal and colleague safety.
- Serve as a safety role such as First Aider, EHS Committee Member, or Fire Warden when appointed.
- Maintain and update the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for the laboratory.
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs accurately.
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
