Position: Testing & Commissioning Manager

Job Description:
- Develop comprehensive testing and commissioning plans and procedures for SCADA systems.
- Conduct site visits to verify SCADA system installations align with design specifications.
- Perform system testing to ensure safe and efficient functionality.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues during the commissioning process.
- Lead and oversee commissioning activities, managing project engineers and site supervisors where applicable.
- Review and approve project documentation, including design drawings, equipment submittals, and specifications to ensure compliance with startup and commissioning standards.
- Participate in key design reviews (e.g., P&ID, Equipment Layout, HAZOP) to incorporate pre-commissioning and commissioning requirements into the facility designs.
- Schedule, execute, and document all required inspections and tests in line with the approved commissioning plan.
- Coordinate with system providers, contractors, and relevant authorities to establish and maintain the testing and commissioning schedule.
- Organize and lead integrated testing meetings with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all systems and components meet project specifications through rigorous testing.
- Analyze test results, identify deficiencies, and work closely with design and construction teams to resolve any technical issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including test reports and commissioning records.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout all testing and commissioning activities.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in SCADA system testing and commissioning for building services.
- Knowledge and experience in the Rail/Infrastructure industry.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing testing and commissioning plans.
- Strong understanding of industrial standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proficient in reading electrical, construction drawings, and 3D BIM models.
- Strong interpersonal, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of BIM and AutoCAD is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
