Job Summary
Your portfolio includes providing on-site support at customer sites which include being familiar with customer wafer fabrication processing flow and techniques, addressing potential integration challenges with systems which impact or are being impacted earlier or later in the process flow. This includes Design of Experiment (DOE), process evaluation and documentation of process outputs relating to hardware installations, medications / upgrades to existing systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with Account team and customers to understand customer technology roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, requirements and business issues / challenges. Identify areas where Companyis able to value-add.
- Work with Account team and customers to execute to penetration and defense strategy, including coordinating with Global Product Group on product demonstration.
- Perform startup of “capacity add” on the systems i.e. match results to existing systems and applications.
- Design and complete simple DOE evaluations to characterize process window for new installations or recommended field hardware modifications / upgrades.
- Conduct experiments and tests, collect and analyze data and generate reports for both internal and external distribution.
- Develop new processes to new and/or existing customer applications.
- Professionally represent the company to the customer. Utilize knowledge of company’s product lines and services to keep existing / potential customers informed when new/additional needs are identified.
- Develop good customer relations during start-up and trouble-shooting.
- Maintain company’s assigned equipment (computer, tool kit, diagnostic test equipment, spare parts etc) in good working condition, secure and accounted for.
- Ensure safe working condition at work site.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Engineering Degree (Chemical / Materials Science Engineering or equivalent). Fresh university graduates will also be considered.
- Systematic and has an analytical mindset.
- Good communication and interpersonal relations skill.
- Able to actively engage customers on technical solutions.
- Able to work in Fab environment and perform standby duties.
- Must be able to wear personal protective clothing which comprises of air respirator equipment, clean room garments and safety shoes.
- Willing to support short term, overseas assignment.
