Main role of the Vocational / Life Skills Trainer is to formulate vocational / life skills training plans for young adults with special needs and monitor their performance on-site to ensure it translates into successful transition
Responsibilities include:.
- To train and assist clients in community living, social and emotional wellbeing, physical maintenance, and vocational activities
- To be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the clients
- To develop student’s training plans and materials with accomodation and adaption where necessary
- To plan small group activities, updating client’s progress, simple intervention plans
- To conduct assessments of the students and plan vocational / life skills goals of the students
- To educate clients on the social distancing measures, personal hygiene, and safety measures
- To train and monitor students' progress and performance
