About the Job
Infrastructure Management
o Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Group’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud solutions
o Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of IT systems to meet business requirements
o Develop and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans
o Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, ensuring proactive maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
o Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure service quality and adherence to SLAs
Cybersecurity
o Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect the Group’s assets, data, and intellectual property
o Oversee the deployment of cybersecurity tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and encryption protocols
o Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential threats
o Lead incident response efforts and develop procedures for managing security breaches or cyber incidents
o Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Responsibilities
Leadership
o Lead a regional team of IT professionals, providing mentorship, training, and performance management in areas of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity
o Develop and implement the IT infrastructure and cybersecurity budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
o Collaborate with other departments and OBUs to ensure seamless integration and alignment of IT initiatives
o Stay current with emerging technologies, trends and threats to continuously improve IT infrastructure and cybersecurity measures
Compliance and Governance
o Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards across the Group
o Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to IT infrastructure and cybersecurity
o Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify gaps in security controls and implement corrective actions
Project Management
o Lead and manage IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope, budget , and quality
o Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
Experience
· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
· Experience managing global teams and working in a multi-site, multi-country environment
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
· Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies (servers, networks, virtualization, cloud computing, storage, etc)
· Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, or PMP are highly desirable
