Join our client's team at the forefront of the self-storage industry in Singapore. We're seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Operations to lead our stores across the city. This role is pivotal in driving B2C sales, profitability, and operational excellence, with full P&L responsibility. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage operations of all self-storage facilities in Singapore, with a focus on driving B2C sales and revenue growth.
- Assume full P&L responsibility for the Hong Kong operations, including budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost management.
- Develop, implement, and translate operational strategies to the ground level, ensuring buy-in and execution from all team members.
- Build strong rapport with operations staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Optimize resource management and streamline processes to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
- Utilize data-driven insights and reporting tools (including Excel) to inform decision-making, drive performance, and manage budgets effectively.
- Manage and develop talent across stores, including performance management, training, and career development.
- Collaborate closely with HQ on key operational drivers, including pricing, marketing, HR, and finance, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and budgetary constraints.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within customer-facing industries such as hospitality, FMCG, airlines, retail, or F&B.
- Strong track record in driving B2C sales, implementing successful operational strategies, and managing P&L responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability in budget preparation, financial analysis, and cost control measures.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and align teams towards common goals and financial targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships at all levels and presenting financial information to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach to operations and financial management.
