- Responsible for developing, reviewing, revising, maintaining, and implementing the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management System.
- Review all risk assessments to ensure compliance and carry out revision if necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safe practice and legal compliance
- Investigate all incidents in the workplace and carry out corrective actions
- Carry out regular EHS inspections and audits
- Conduct fire and emergency training for all employees
- Liaise with statutory bodies on EHSS-related licenses and permits and keep updated on the latest change in regulations and Acts and be conversant with all waste management regulations, procedures and licensing requirements
- Promote health and safety at workplace through campaigns, competitions, contests, activities etc.
- Regularly update to management of EHSS performance and the continual improvement plan.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in relevant field (e.g., Health, Safety and Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety)
- Over 8 years of relevant experience in the construction and engineering industry
- Familiarity with Singapore regulations and local legislation system
- Excellent skills in ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18001 audits
