Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore, an esteemed arts institution with a global reputation seeks an administratively strong Assistant Manager/Manager (Business Development & Sales) at the Centre for Lifelong Education (CLE).
Established in 2005, NAFA’s Centre for Lifelong Education is Singapore’s leading institute for continuing education and training in arts, design and media. Its courses offer opportunities to upskill, reskill and develop new hobbies, through our short courses and certificate courses.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and Implement Sales Strategies
Create and execute sales plans to attract new learners to our continuing adult education programmes in arts, design, and media subjects. Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities and markets. Consult with prospective clients, pursue sales opportunities, and close the deals effectively.
· Build and Maintain Relationships
Establish and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance programme offerings and learner experience.
· Market Research and Analysis
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Analyze data to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
· Promotion and Outreach
Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote adult education programmes. Utilize various channels, including digital marketing, social media, events, and partnerships, to increase visibility, and enrollment.
· Learner Engagement
Engage with current and potential participants to understand their needs and preferences. Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure a positive experience.
· Partnership Development
Identify and secure strategic partnerships with businesses, community organizations, and educational institutions to expand our reach and offerings.
· Revenue Generation
Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Track and report on sales performance and progress towards objectives.
· Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales processes, participant engagement, and program offerings.
Requirements & Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Arts Management, or a related field, with a minimum 7 years’ of proven experience in business development and sales, preferably in the continuing education and training sector.
Having the Advanced Certificate in Learning & Performance and/or Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance will be an advantage.
You should have a mindset of relentless pursuit and a fearless approach to seeking out potential clients, a strong understanding of adult education and the arts industry and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you should be proficient in market research and analysis and a creative individual as well as a strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset. In addition, an excellent communicator, negotiator, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
