Job Summary:
The Manager oversees fuel farm operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. You will work closely with QHSSE to resolve safety issues, serve as the site management controller during emergencies, and provide technical expertise to customers. The role also involves managing customer relationships, implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., digitalisation), and optimising manpower and operational plans for efficiency and cost control.
Responsibilities:
- Manage fuel farm activities, including fuel loading/unloading and refueller top-ups.
- Investigate fuel quality issues and discrepancies, providing corrective actions.
- Approve fuel demand forecasts and manage the supply chain to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee facility maintenance and ensure timely housekeeping of equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards through audits and operational plans.
- Work with customers to clarify contract terms, resolve issues, and prevent recurring complaints.
- Lead digital transformation and resource optimisation projects to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage team development, approve training roadmaps, and optimise manpower planning.
- Oversee budget management, approve financial decisions, and control costs for the department.
- Provide regular reports to key stakeholders, including RSAF and HQ.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Operations Management or a related field.
- Experience in the aviation industry or airforce is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
