The role requires the incumbent to provide seamless and customer-focused solutions by managing cargo bookings and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient shipment processes.
The individual will play a critical role in maintaining customer relationships and ensuring data accuracy throughout the cargo booking process.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with daily cargo bookings on various airline products, ensuring smooth processing and accurate documentation.
- Book and confirm capacity with airlines, keeping customers informed of their shipment status.
- Understand and communicate the specific requirements of different airline products to customers, providing tailored advice as needed.
- Manage the administrative tasks related to cargo bookings, including entering flight reservations into the system and ensuring data accuracy.
- Liaise with customers, warehouse teams, carriers, customs, and other relevant parties to fulfill shipment requirements.
- Track and monitor the status of shipments, updating customers promptly on any changes or issues.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the Billing Team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a related field, such as airfreight customer service or co-loading.
- Minimum educational qualifications of “O” & “N” Levels.
- Familiarity with the CCN system.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
- Strong communication skills with a customer service orientation.
- Ability to adapt to changes, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able work shifts and weekends as required.
