Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the health and carrying out maintenance of manufacturing equipment to produce the highest quality product.
- Continuously evaluate new ideas and optimize/improve tool capabilities to attain benchmark performance.
- Partnering with the Equipment and Process Engineering peers to simplify and increase efficiency for operation on the equipment.
- Identify disruptive equipment early, work with Equipment and Process peers to identify viable methods on early detection and resolution or elimination of the issue.
- Lead team or suppliers on challenging projects in focused meetings with end goal of delivering highest quality and cost effective product.
- Identify and resolve safety hazards. Follow Safety procedures including lockout, chemical safety, lifting techniques and ergonomics.
- Adhere to fab disciplines in line with the values of Micron.
- Strict alignment to Micron Intellectual Property protection policy is a requirement
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proactive approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and time management skills.
- Innovative and adaptable to our fast paced and dynamic work environment.
- Able to work permanent 12 hour shifts.
