Description: Seafreight Manager
Our customer, an established multinational logistics company is seeking to fill the following vacancy :-
Responsibilities :-
· Manage Singapore-based Regional MNC accounts.
· Involvement with Post Sales activities and RFQs
· Ensure smooth handling of ocean freight shipments
· Supervising a small team of customer service officers in handling import & export operational, billing and customer service issues.
· Involvement in Quality and Projects initiatives.
· Supervision of staff on full spectrum of shipping processes and daily operations.
· Close communication with vendors, shippers, customers, carriers and overseas offices
· Resolve any escalation of shipping issues with clients.
· Address any operational or documentation issues encountered by team,
Skills/Qualifications:
· Minimum 2-4 years supervisory experience in freight forwarding/logistics
· Highly motivated and able to work independently.
· Familiar with shipping documentation and procedures
· Strong network with vendors an added advantage.
· Strong communication skills
