Responsibilities:
- Perform programming for CNC milling machines.
- Analyse the design and define the best sequence for machining steps.
- Analyse technical drawings and ensure programming operations are optimised to achieve best possible productivity.
- Lead new products introduction (NPI) and optimise manufacturing process to define best sequence of machining steps.
- Develop and set tooling selection and fixture design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with specifications or machines.
- Perform process improvements to increase the overall capacity and turnaround time.
- Perform budgetary costing analysis.
- Analyse and set router sequence to achieve the best possible quality and efficiency.
- Support any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- O Level, NITEC or ITE Certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in precision engineering.
- Knowledge of CAM software (Gibbs Cam, Master Cam) is a must.
- Proven working knowledge in CNC milling machines.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Team player who is able to work independently and under pressure.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, meticulous and able to multi-task to meet deadlines
