We are now looking for a FP& A Analyst that is excited to join us.
Job responsibilities-
Monthly financial close
- Reconciling invoices generated in each of Sleek’s markets
- Updating Sleek’s finance masterfile by the 5th business day of each month with the actuals for the prior month
Financial analysis
- Undertaking ad-hoc analysis of key business drivers so that the leadership team understands trends in Sleek’s financial performance
Financial reporting
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for internal purposes and/or for Sleek’s auditors
- Assisting with the preparation of financials as required from time to time by Sleek’s shareholders or other external parties
Financial data consistency
- Ensuring that the financial data presented in Sleek’s various platforms/ sources (Tableau, finance masterfile) are aligned
Financial information architecture
- Ensuring that key financial information is stored in Google Drive or OneDrive in a clear, simple and easy to locate manner
Grant applications
- Assist with the preparation and submission of applications for funding from Government or other entities
Continuous improvement
- Proactively making recommendations to the Head of Finance or CFO on a monthly basis for improvements to FP&A tools or processes at Sleek
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or similar
- At least 5+ years in FP&A or similar financial roles.
- Candidates must have experience in financial modelling for Software as a Service (SaaS) businesses, and performing cohort analysis
- Preferred candidate is a self-starter, who has been in a FP&A function before, preferably at a startup or growth stage company; or has financial modelling and analysis experience from consulting / venture capital background
- Possess advanced knowledge and experience with financial accounting, corporate finance and business intelligence systems as well as advanced skills in financial modeling using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and presentations using PowerPoint / Google Slides
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to articulate complex financial concepts
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills; good business acumen and ability to identify data anomalies, trends or deviations and introduce strategies for improvement
