The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing learning and development strategies to meet business objectives. This role involves designing training programs, assessing employee development needs, and tracking the effectiveness of learning initiatives. The manager will collaborate with employees and managers to support career development, manage the learning budget, and ensure programs align with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify learning needs across the organization and develop relevant programs that align with business goals.
- Conduct learning needs analyses to evaluate employees' skills and areas for growth in line with company objectives.
- Create learning roadmaps to bridge current and future skill gaps.
- Design, develop, and manage the overall curriculum and training materials.
- Deliver leadership development programs and facilitate leadership career planning.
- Equip supervisors and managers with the skills and tools to mentor and coach employees.
- Incorporate modern learning methods and technology to enhance training effectiveness.
- Manage and monitor the Learning and Development budget.
- Oversee funding, claims, and bonds for all learning-related activities.
- Continuously assess and improve program outcomes, including ROI and learning effectiveness.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records on training activities, attendance, and materials.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years in learning and development, talent management, or organizational development.
- Experience in construction or engineering industry will be advantageous.
- Experience in designing and implementing effective training programs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
