The Management trainee will be trained to assist Retail Manager on managing the store, and the specific duties and responsibilities consist of but are not limited to the following:
- Daily store operations, handling of operational and customer’s issues.
- Managing of store’s duty roster to ensure sufficient staffing during store’s operating hours.
- Managing of sales staffs and promoters to ensure adherence to our company’s policies and procedures, ensure targets are being achieved and take corrective action if targets are not met.
- To achieve budgeted sales and gross profit of the store.
- To assist Manager in budgeting and regular performance review of sales staffs, and to coach under-performing staffs as and when required.
- Conduct sales, service and product briefing for sales team on a regular basis.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline
- Min 2 years’ experience in retail
- No experience required but keen to explore retail
- Good Customer management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working at Changi Airport on retail shift hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Passionate and self-motivated
