Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Curriculum Development Intern to join our team. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, and enhancing educational programs that foster adventure and discovery for our students. This internship offers a valuable opportunity for students or recent graduates in education, special education, or related fields to gain hands-on experience in curriculum design within a supportive and impactful environment.
Key Responsibilities
1) Collaborate with educators to develop and refine curriculum materials that promote experiential and discovery-based learning.
2) Assist in researching best practices and current trends in special education curriculum design and instructional strategies.
3) Help create lesson plans, learning activities, and assessment tools that align with the needs of diverse learners.
4) Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for curriculum enhancements and program improvements.
5) Review and evaluate existing curriculum materials, providing recommendations for updates and modifications.
6) Support the implementation of new curriculum initiatives and assist in training staff on program delivery.
7) Gather and analyze feedback from educators, students, and families to inform ongoing curriculum development.
8) Contribute to the creation of resources and materials that support family engagement in the learning process.
