Job Description for Public Relationship Officer (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute public relations programs to enhance project visibility and community engagement.
- Address and resolve conflicts, feedback, and complaints related to the project in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the Client to implement necessary actions and follow up on resolutions.
- Initiate dialogue with property owners, management corporations, Resident Committees, Citizens’ Consultative Committees, Town Councils, and other relevant parties as directed.
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc visits to residents affected by the works to gather feedback and provide updates on work schedules and other relevant issues.
- Be available 24/7 throughout the contract period to attend to public relations matters on-site.
- Maintain and update a PR database to record all communication, visits, and follow-up actions.
- Ensure bilingual proficiency (English and another official language of Singapore) in both spoken and written communication.
- Prepare monthly reports detailing feedback/complaints and actions taken.
- Serve as Secretary for briefings, meetings, and dialogue sessions with affected parties/residents and relevant committees.
- Maintain a professional appearance and wear proper identification pass during engagements with stakeholders.
- Arrange dialogue sessions with affected parties before the commencement of construction work to inform them about project details.
- Prepare and submit a detailed public relations statement and program to the S.O. for approval before the commencement of physical works.
- Design, print, and distribute pamphlets, notices, and other materials to inform affected parties about the project's impact and benefits.
- Provide periodic updates and disseminate information to affected parties until project completion.
- Provide support and assistance for functions and events organized by the S.O. or other relevant parties.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the field of public relations with appropriate qualifications.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proven track record of conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed records and reports.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
